Japan earthquake forecast

30 апреля 2010 No comments

Japan earthquake forecastSituation in the Taiwan-Japan region remains complex. It was deduced from the geophysical parameters set including our WBG (wideband gradiometer) instrumentation system data, seismic cloud indicators traced by the experts of Research Center for Earth Operative Monitoring (RC EOM), and also electromagnetic, telluric and proton diffusion and Earth rotation data.

On the April 24 WBG system registered significant gravity anomaly presented in the messages on our site and also on the (RC EOM) site (only in Russian at this moment). Currently the anomaly is still being observed.

WBG-4 system data for period 22/04/2010–30/04/2010

WBG-4 system data for period 22/04/2010–30/04/2010

WBG-3 system data for period 22/04/2010–30/04/2010

WBG-3 system data for period 22/04/2010–30/04/2010

As the result of the complex processing of the precursors set it was established Japan earthquake forecast:
– Location: Japan, Honshu, Sendai region
– Magnitude: M>7

Processing of the registered data and localization of the potential earthquake regions is still in progress. Time of the event is being estimated.

On forthcoming strong earthquakes

27 апреля 2010 No comments

April of 2010 is very unusual in the sense of WBG registered signals. Since the beginning of the month it was registered a whole series of low-frequency precursors.

WBG-3 system data for period of 01/04/2010–26/04/2010

WBG-3 system data for period of 01/04/2010–26/04/2010

In the period of April 24–25 WBG system registered strong earthquake precursors set including all typical precursors of both low- and high- frequency type.
